“Player Trophies”

Here is an update on the delivery of trophies for this season.
 
Coaches must turn in their team rating cards before the trophies will be given to the team

All players in the U6 and U8 Divisions will receive participation trophies.  
 
The U6 trophies will be available at the information tent at the RSSP Fields on Nov. 7 and Nov. 14.
The U8 trophies will be available at the information tent at Berylwood Field on Nov. 14 and Nov. 21.
 
The U10, U12 and U14 Divisions are competitive and each Division (boys and girls) will receive 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies for the top three teams – all remaining teams will receive participation trophies.  To clarify - each player will receive a trophy for the season.
 
The U10, U12 and U14 Participation Trophies for teams that are not close to placing in the top three teams will be available at the information tent at RSSP Fields on Nov. 7 and Nov. 14.
For the teams that are vying for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place spots they will be able to pick up their trophies on Nov. 14 and the teams that do not place in the top three spots will be able to pick up their participation trophies on the same day.
 
In the event teams that win in the morning and there is still a question to the ranking of winners, the coach/team can pick up the trophies at the end of the day when the scores are finalized or they can pick up the trophies on Nov. 21 at the U8 Division Berylwood playing fields.
 
To bring a more personal touch to our trophies, this year the regional board decided to add each players name to their trophy.  Many names are long and difficult to spell.  We have tried very hard to make sure each name is spelled correctly and have taken the information off the eAYSO computer system.  There will be mistakes and our trophy company has guaranteed if there is a misspelled name they will correct it at no charge.  If there is a problem you can take your trophy to the company and they will fix it for you.  American Trophies and Awards is located in Simi Valley.
